The short version: we collect your email only if you subscribe, we use cookieless analytics that don't track you, and the rest of your data (starred events, filters) stays in your browser. We don't sell anything.

What data we collect and why

Email address

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address for the sole purpose of sending you tournament updates and new content from PokerCircuit. The legal basis for this processing is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing via the link in any email.

Analytics data

We use Plausible Analytics to understand how people use this site. Plausible is cookieless and collects no personal data. It processes only aggregated, anonymous traffic statistics. No consent is required and no personal data is involved.

Browser storage

We store your starred events and filter preferences in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.

Who we share your data with

We use the following third-party services that may process data on our behalf:

• Beehiiv (newsletter platform) — stores and manages email subscriber data. Beehiiv is our data processor under a Data Processing Agreement. Their privacy policy is available at beehiiv.com/privacy.
• Netlify — hosts this website and processes form submissions. Data is processed in the US under standard contractual clauses. Their privacy policy is at netlify.com/privacy.
• Plausible Analytics — provides anonymous, cookieless analytics. Data is processed in the EU. Their privacy policy is at plausible.io/privacy.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your email address with any third party for marketing purposes.

How long we keep your data

We retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your data is deleted from our systems within 30 days.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you,
• request correction or deletion of your data,
• withdraw consent at any time, and
• lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
